Big Mountain Skiing, Small-Town Charm

Known for its historic mountain town vibe and friendly locals, this high-altitude ski resort also serves up some serious light dry powder.

With an annual average snowfall of over 9 meters, Breckenridge is a powder hound’s dream. Nestled in the shadow of the TenMile mountain range, Breckenridge reaps big meteorological benefits when weather systems scale up the peaks, gaining strength and moisture before they let loose over the resort. Add to that, legendary town events; an après ski scene just steps from the slopes: and a quaint Victorian mining town, and it’s little wonder Breckenridge earns high praise as Colorado’s best all-round ski town.
